I stayed at the hotel about a year ago, I was looking for a big hotel in the old town and was suprised that most were fully booked. It turned out there was a boxing competition going on in town if my memory doesn't deceive me. Whatever..I was forced to reserve a small hotel as I didn't want to cancel my whole trip and that's how I first came across Hotel Varusha.

I was pleasantly suprised, both me and my boyfriend were delighted. The hotel is clean, warm (it was a very cold time of year) and cosy. The best thing is the location of the hotel - right in the best part of the city in the heart of the old town:) - Antoniya Baldaramova

Hotel Varusha is comfortable and modern furnished family hotel. It is situated in the architectural complex "Samovodska charshia" - the craft street. This street has preserved the charm and spirit of the period of National Revival. The hotel is located close to many famous landmarks in Veliko Tarnovo. Some of them are the "House with a little monkey", "Stambolovia han" and the church of St. Nikola, where began the Firsth Great Assembly.

The hotel has 10 double rooms, 4 triple rooms and 2 single rooms. The rooms are modern and cozy furnished. Our guests can find all conveniences for their comfortable stay. All the rooms have individual bathroom, central heating, air–conditioner and TV set.

We propose service to rent–a-car, if our guests like.

There are many restaurants, coffee shops and museums nearby.
